This project has been kicking around in my mind for a few years now in one form or another. I'd been thinking about adapting one of my favorite public domain stories but conventions and commissions kept me too busy to focus on it. A friend told me about Kickstarter's make/100 promotion and another friend suggested that I make 100 drawings that would tell a story like a comic book. That brought me back to adapting something classic and things finally clicked.
